Heater Selector Box
This pic is from Van's Aircraft.
Vans Aircraft sells a
Heater Selector Box for $98 (prices as of Jan 2011). Cabin heat obtained from a
heat muff needs to be routed into the cabin. Air heated in the heat muff must continually flow to keep it from overheating components and destroying items such as the muff or the scat tube. The selector box mounts on the engine side of the
firewall and either routes warm air to the cockpit or dumps the warm air overboard. The box requires a control cable to select heat on/off.
