The product name for the copper gasket spray talked about on the CorvairListServe has the proper product name of Permatex 80697 Copper Spray-A-Gasket Hi Temp Sealant - 12 oz aerosol can, 9 oz net weight. It costs in the order of $6-10 a can from Amazon. It is a high temperature adhesive sealant that is fast drying. The metallic copper sealant helps dissipate heat, that helps prevents gasket burnout and improves heat transfer. Its best if after spraying, you hold the pieces in place till assembled. The spray has the added properties of minor scratch filling. Charlie points out in the CorvairListServe that this product is in WW's video - he refers to it as "the copper spray".External links:
