Aeromax Aviation

A manufacturer of Corvair engines for aviation use. Their website claims they produce 100HP and 120HP engines with an integrated front bearing. Sentiment towards this company on the CorvairListServe about this company - or its products - is clear and not positive. The List Serve has a string of articles of in which buyers from across the country directly implicate Aeromax of providing poorly assembled engines, dangerously mismatched parts, faulty components, irregularly matched items, in which buyers paid for items they did not receive or in which they received substandard items, where the engines did not develop the HP, and in one instance an engine of theirs is complicit in causing an air crash in which the pilot died in a fire on the ground, etc. The List Serve archives are searchable and this information can be obtained directly from people who have had dealings with them.

The names of the principals are Solly Mellon and Bill Clapp. Buyer beware.
